Band of Mothers - The Women of Beachy Company

A tribute to the Ladies that work at Seaside Cottages Fish Hoek.

When our customers arrive at Seaside Cottages & present themselves at the office (Cottage 12), to collect their keys to their designated cottage, a well proven procedure has just about concluded. The visitors are guided to a cottage & make themselves at home. They notice that the cottage is spotlessly clean. The kitchen cutlery, crockery & pots are sparkling in their respective drawers & cupboards. They walk through to the bedroom & take in the clean, crisp linen on the beds. They switch on the TV and see that DStv is operational. The windows are clean, a never-ending task given the proximity to the beach with its sand & wind. One then remembers that there are almost thirty cottages requiring the same procedure & the enormity of the task sinks home. The exact same procedure is required at The View Sunnycove with its five apartments. The work continues day in & day out, week in & week out including some weekends & public holidays when the booking-in gets hectic. The office part of the business is equally busy. Scrutinising Facebook, Outlook, answering never-ending ringing telephones,e-mailing quotations, questions requiring answers, problems requiring solutions. Booking customers into cottages that are suitable regarding number of guests to bedrooms, ensuring that rules & regulations are being adhered to. Not to mention a multitude of other admin tasks.

Here then are the women that make it possible for our customers to enjoy their time at Seaside Cottages.
